Day 148

If you haven't entered the giveaway to celebrate A's 1st Birthday, head on over and check it out! Only one comment required! Ends 05/31

Today was Aiden's party. I kind of slacked on taking photos, and most of the ones I did take are still on my camera... Mama is tired! But hopefully now that the last of the birthday festivities is over I will be able to get back to normal. Watch for some big changes coming soon!

Day 147

If you haven't entered the giveaway to celebrate A's 1st Birthday, head on over and check it out! Only one comment required! Ends 05/31

I didn't take nearly as many phone pics this week for some reason... here is what I did find on my phone, though!

Day 146

This week's Texture Tuesday required the use of the yesteryear texture. I used it at 100% soft light.

The prompt over at Simplicity is {messy}... the perfect excuse to post this pic

And finally, I tried to take A out to take his one year photos today, but he was NOT having it! I am thinking my little party animal was still recovering from his birthday. I still couldn't resist this one, though.

Day 145

Very first photo of the birthday boy!

Day 143

The nieces and nephews are out of school for the summer, so today we went to Mom's for some water fun! The babies loves A's new bumble bee pool, but they were in bright sunlight and wow, did I have problems with my photos today. But honestly, sometimes I just want to relax and watch the kiddos... so I did!

For Good to Wow this week, the prompt is {Chalk Drawings}. Of course, all of our chalk was left outside in the rain, so it was a mess today. I took this photo earlier this month, and thought maybe I could save it with some editing instead:

Day 142

I took this photo this morning for the prompt {sharp} for Scavenger Hunt Sunday. You can view my full Scavenger Hunt post here.

Day 141

Today, I am really excited to post for the first time in a few days! I spent some time bug watching at the park, and came home with so many shots I love. It was really hard for me to pick a favorite, but I think this one wins.

Of course I can't help but share some shots of my cutie pie as well, though. He played with Daddy while Mama played with the bugs, hehe....

Want to see more of my photos from today? I finally caved and set up a Flickr account! I don't really know what I am doing yet, but I think you find my photos here!

Day 139

Been waiting for the perfect moment to get a sleeping shot for Faith's prompt this week... Not the best available light for this one, but it was too cute not to share! :)

I have a feeling some of your blogs did not make the switch when I set up my new reader. Spent all morning commenting, so if you have not seen anything from me on your blog please let me know!!

Day 138

I found the most delightful flower while on my walk with the bubs today!

And for the Kim Klassen Cafe Texture Tuesday we were to go vintage, so I chose a close-up and had some fun!

Day 137

Here is a little peek into my day today...

Giving in to pancake cravings. I posted this recipe here.

Found the perfect horseback riders to go with my niece's western set at Toys R Us (aka my wallet's nightmare)

In a rare moment of quiet, got my nephew to hold still for a photo.

Spent hours laughing at these two... don't you think they could pass for twins?
Yep, it was a good day.
