Day 19

Wednesday, January 19

Today was a tough day for me. I keep reminding myself that we are going for 365 days here... I have to be able to deal with the days where at the end I don't have a photo I love. For a perfectionist like me that is not easy.

I really wasn't crazy about either of these, but I couldn't tell which one I liked the least... so I am posting both, haha. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Going to try to catch up on all your blogs by tomorrow. I have missed the inspiration, and maybe that's why I was so blah today.

Oh, and if you have a minute and are not a regular reader on my non-photoblog, I would love it if you took a look at my guest post for today. My friend, Amy, is amazing and she is sharing her new journey with my readers as she gets the hang of blogging on her own.

  1. You'll have good and bad captures - all part of the process. Use it as a learning experience. Growth. I actually really like the water droplets in your first shot. Very cool!

  2. I love the 2nd one. Reminds me of when my youngest 2 were babies. They used to jump so high and so hard you would think they were gonna fly right out.

  4. I love the water drops too! Don't you worry, we all have our moments, but you're right, there are plenty of days left to be fun and creative! ;)

  6. I love the bath photo! Love the look with the water falling on baby's sweet head. And the second photo I really like how you can see the feet, but everything else is a blur. My boys would have loved that jumper!

  8. I really like the choice of shutter speed to freeze the water in the first shot!

  10. Courtney is completely right! I too love the droplets in the first one and I love the second one! My daughter had a jumper and she would jump that fast too, it always made me laugh. Great capture!

  11. I actually really like the first one. It is very raw and captures the moment perfectly. We are our own worst critics... I am the same way.

  12. I think you did a great job on the bathtime picture. I can't seem to get my shutter speed fast enough in my dimly lit bathroom to get the frozen water effect. Great job! Stop beating yourself up.
